Answer:

2*10 = x+y

20=x+y .......... eq 1

24*2=y+z

48=y+z...... eq 2

2*y=10+24

2y=34

y=17

10-x = y-10 = 24-y =z-24 =d

put y=17 in eq 1

x=3

put y=17 in  eq 2

z=31

d=10-x=10-3=7

ap is

3,10,17,24,31

Answer:

X=3,y=17,z=31

Step-by-step explanation:

10,y,24 are in AP so taking arthmatic

y=(10+24)/2

y=34/2

y=17

now finding common difference

d=17-10

=7

now all the no.s are in AP so

a+d=10. (where 'a' is first term)

a=10-7=3

so X=3

now

z=a+4d=3+4*7

=3+28=31

so

X=3,Y=17,Z=31
