x : y = 12 : 13 (Given)

y : z = 3 : 2 (Given)

.

Since both ratio has y, we will make the y the same value

Multiply the ratio by 3:

x : y = (12 x 3) : (13 x 3)

x : y = 36 : 39

.

Multiply the ratio by 13:

y : z = (3 x 13) : (2 x 13)

y : z = 39 : 26

.

Put the two sets of ratio together:

x : y : z = 36 : 39 : 26

.

Answer: x : y : z = 36 : 39 : 26
