in fig 1

y = z =76

x = 72

in fig 2

y= x = 130

z = 80

avidyakamath: How did you get X in fig. 1 72

Hey mate..

Here is your answer..☺☺

##1st Figure :

=> 76 degrees = z ( corresponding angles )

=> y = z = 76 degrees ( vertically opposite angles )

=> d = angle beside z = 39 degree ( corresponding angles )

=> x + z + d = 180 degree ( angles on a straight line )

=x + 76 + 39 degrees = 180 degree

= x + 115 degrees = 180 degree

=x = 180 degrees - 115 degrees

= x = 65 degrees

THEREFORE

X = 65 DEGREES

Y = 76 DEGREES

Y = 76 DEGREES

##2nd Figure :

=> x = 130 degrees ( corresponding angles )

=> y = 130 degrees ( vertically opposite angles )

=> z + 50 degrees = y ( corresponding angles )

= z + 50 degrees = 130 degrees

= z = 130 degrees - 50 degrees

= z = 80 degrees

THEREFORE

X = 130 DEGREES

Y = 130 DEGREES

Z = 80 DEGREES
