Given:-

• ABCD is a parallelogram
• ∠ DAC = 45°
• ∠ CBE = 70°

To find:-

• angles x , y , z

Solution:-

∵ ∠ DAE and ∠ CBE are corresponding angles

∴ ∠ DAE = ∠ CBE        = 70°

→  ∠DAE = ∠ DAC + ∠ CAE = 70°

→  45° + x = 70°

→ x = 25°

∵ ∠ DAC and ∠ ACB are Alternate interior angles

∴ ∠ DAC = ∠ ACB = 45°

so, → y = 45°

∵  ∠ ADC and ∠ DAB are co. interior angles

∴ ∠ ADC + ∠DAB = 180°

→ z + ∠ DAC + ∠ x  = 180°

→ z + 45° + 25° = 180°

→ z = 110°
