since AC = EC

therefore, angle A =angle E

angle A= E = 180-y

by angle sum property

2(180-y)° + 70° =180°

360-2y=110

-2y= 110-360

y= 250/2

therefore y = 125°

by angle sum property in triangle ABE

20 + 135 + z(let) = 180

z= 180- 155

z= 25°

since, AB||CD

therefore , x=z=25° ( alternate interior angles)
