-6y = -5(1 - y) - 5

-6y = -5 + y - 5

-6y = -10 + y

10 = y + 6y

10 = 7y

y = \frac{10}{7}

∴ y = \frac{10}{7}

NOTE -

In order to get the answer, use BODMAS rule

B - Brackets,

O - Open,

D - Division,

M - Multiplication,

A - Addition,

S - Subtraction.
