The playground is in the shape of rectangle, whose
Length = 70 metre.
Breadth = 20 metre.

and
Cost of levelling = Rs. 2.5 per Sq. m.
Cost of fencing = Rs. 1.5 per Sq. m.

To find :-
We have to calculate the cost of levelling and cost of fencing too.

Cost of Levelling :-
To find the cost of levelling, we have to first calculate the area, then we will multiply the total area with the cost of levelling.

So, area of playground = Length X Breadth  (as the playground is of     rectangular shape).
= 70 X 20
= 1400 sq. m

Now, cost of levelling,
= 1400 X 2.5 
= Rs. 3500.

Cost of fencing :-
To find the cost of fencing, we will first calculate the perimeter and then we will multiply the total perimeter with the cost of fencing.

So, perimeter of playground = 2 (Length + Breadth)
= 2 (70 + 20)
= 2 X 90
= 180 m.

Cost of fencing = 180 X 1.5
= Rs. 270.

Hence, the cost of levelling is Rs. 3500 and the cost of fencing is Rs. 270.
