Solution:

Inorder to find four rational numbers between -3/4 and 1/2, we need to multiply by 8 in -3/4 and multiply by 16 in 1/2.

On multiplying -3/4 by 8, we have

(-3/4) × 8/8

= -24/32

On multiplying 1/2 by 16, we have

(1/2) × 16

= 16/32
