By observing the fig. 1 and finding y°

Using exterior angle property.

Exterior angle property :- Exterior angle equal to sum of two interior opposite angles in the triangle.

Here , interior opposite angles equal to 50°

➠ y° = 50° + 50°

➠ y° = 100°

Now , finding z° using angle sum property . By observing fig. 2

Angle sum property :- Sum of all angles in a triangle always equal to 180°

➽ 30° + y° + z° = 180°

Substituting the value of y°

➽ 30° + 100° + z° = 180°

➽ 130° + z° = 180°

➽ z° = 180° - 130°

➽ z = 50°
