 = 2 {x}^{2} - 3x - 9 \\ = 2 {x}^{2} - 6x + 3 - 9 \\ = 2x(x - 3) + 3(x - 3) \\ = (2x + 3)(x - 3)

the zeros of the polynomial are 3 and -3/2

sum of the zeros

= -b/a

= (3-3/2)/2

= (6-3/2)/2

= (3/2)/2

= 3

product of the zeros

= c/a

 = 3 \times \frac{ - 3}{2} \times 2 \\ = \frac{ - 9}{2} \times 2 \\ = - 9

hence , this is the relation between the zeros of the quadratic polynomial.
