Given polynomial,

h(x) = 6x-1

h(x) = 0

→ 6x-1 = 0

→ 6x = 1

→ x =1/6

Checking whether 1/6 is a zero of the polynomial r not.

Put x=1/6 in given polynomial.

h(1/6) = 6(1/6)-1

→ 1-1

→ 0

Hence 1/6 is the zero of the polynomial
