2x -  \frac{5}{2}  = 0 \\   \frac{4x - 5}{2}  = 0 \\ 4x - 5 = 2 \times 0 \\ 4x = 5 \\ x =  \frac{5}{4}

Therefore 5/4 is zero of the given polynomial.
