In order to find the zeroes of the following:-

put p(x)=0

Answer 1

2x-3=0

2x=3

∴ x=3/2

Answer 2

x^2-5x+6=0

x^2-2x-3x+6=0

x(x-2)-3(x-2)=0

(x-3)(x-2)=0

∴ x=3 as well as 2

Answer 3

x+5=0

∴ x=-5
