Hi there !

 {x}^{2}  + 3x + 2 \\  \\   = {x}^{2}  + 2x + x + 2 \\  \\  = x(x + 2) + 1(x + 2) \\  \\  = (x + 2)(x + 1) \\  \\  x =  - 2 \: and \:  - 1

By product rule,

x+2=0 and x+1=0

x= -1 and -2

Thankyou :)
