Findangle of an isosceles triangle whose equal angles and the non-equal angle are in the ratio 3:4.​

let the consider x as the common multiple.

3x+3x+4x = 180

10x=180

x= 18°

the angles are of measure 54°,54° and 72° .

To Find;

The angles of this triangle.

Solution;

Let 'x' be the common multiple.

3 / 4

3x / 4x

Therefore,

3x+3x+4x = 180° ------[ sum of angles of a triangles is 180° ]

10x = 180°

x = 180° / 10

x = 18

Therefore,

equal angle = 3x = 3x18 = 54°

non-equal angle = 4x = 4x18 = 72°
