Step 1 : Find the LCM of the numbers

5 = 5 × 1

9 = 3 × 3

12 = 2 × 2 × 3

20 = 2 × 2 × 5

LCM = 180

Step 2 : Add 3 to the LCM

180 + 3 = 183

∴ The least number which when divided by 5, 9, 12 and 20 leaves a remaider in each case is \bold{183}

Let's divide and check :

\dfrac{183}{5} ➾ Quotient = 36 and Remainder = 3

\dfrac{183}{9} ➾ Quotient = 20 and Remainder = 3

\dfrac{183}{12} ➾ Quotient = 15 and Remaider = 3

\dfrac{183}{20} ➾ Quotient = 9 and Remainder = 3

∴ The least number which when divided by 5, 9, 12 and 20 leaves a remaider in each case is \bold{183}

here is your answer

✧══════•❁❀❁•══════✧

we know that a easy that a lcm
so...............

5 = 5 × 1

9 = 3 × 3

12 = 2 × 2 × 3

20 = 2 × 2 × 5

LCM = 180

so in given remainder 3 so add

180 + 3 = 183

answer is 183

 \huge \: {thanks}

that check so all in 3 remainder OK
