Step-by-step explanation:

firstly use 2nd triangle to get the height of our first triangle as H1=H2

so area of tr.2 = 1/2 ×b×h

20cm = 1/2 ×5

4= 1/2

4×2 = h

H1 = 8

so H2 = H1

then , H2= 8

so area = 1/2 ×b× h

= 1/2 × 5 ×8

= 20

same alike 1 triangle this step - step explaination of the que.

but we can normally give answer of it as both posses same height and same base then area would be same

Answer:

IF WE NEEDS TO FIND THE HEIGHT THE OF THE FIRST TRIANGLE ,WE NEED THE AREA BUT AREA IS NOT GIVEN SO FIRST LET'S FIND OUT THE HEIGHT OF THE SECOND TRIANGLE.

BASE IS 5 AND AREA IS 20 AND HEIGHT IS x.

1/2 BH IS THE FORMULA .

1/2 × 5 × x = 20

1×5×x = 20 × 2

x = 20 × 2 / 1 × 5 = 8

SO THE HEIGHT OF THE FIRST TRIANGLE IS ALSO 8.
