Given :

Vertices of triangle = (4,7, (8,4), (7, 1)

To find :

Centroids of the triangle.

Solution :

Let the given coordinates of triangle be :

A(x₁, y₁) = (4,7)

B(x₂, y₂) = (8,4)

C(x₃ , y₃) = (7,1)

Formula to be used :

Centroids(G) = [(x₁ + x₂ + x₃)/3], [(y₁ + y₂ + y₃)/3]

Now putting values,

⇒ Centroids (G) = [(4 + 8 + 7)/3], [(7 + 4 + 1)/3]

⇒ Centroids (G) = (19/3), (12/3)

Centroids (G) = (19/3), 4

Centroids of triangle = (19/3), 4

Answer:

Given :-

  • Vertices of triangle - (4,7)(8,4)(7,1)

To Find :-

Centroid

Solution :-

As we know that

 \sf \: G \:  =  \dfrac{x_1 + x_2 + x_3}{3 }   \:  \:  \:  \:  \dfrac{y_1 + y_2 + y_3}{3}

Let,

A= 4,7

B = 8,4

C = 7,1

 \sf \: G = \dfrac{4 + 8 + 7}{3}  ,\:  \:  \:   \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: \dfrac{7 + 4 + 1}{3}

 \sf \: G = \dfrac{19}{3}  \:  \:  ,\:  \dfrac{12}{3}

 \sf G = \dfrac{19}{3} \:  \: , \: 4
