Given ,

The function is

  • y = 4x³ + 7x² + 6x + 9

Differentiating wrt x , we get

  \sf \mapsto \frac{dy}{dx}  =  \frac{d(4 {x}^{3} + 7 {x}^{2} + 6x + 9 ) }{dx}

  \sf \mapsto \frac{dy}{dx}  =  \frac{d( 4{x}^{3} )}{dx}  +  \frac{d(7 {x}^{2} )}{dx}  +  \frac{d(6x)}{dx}  +  \frac{d(9)}{dx}

\sf \mapsto  \frac{dy}{dx}  = 12 {x}^{2}  + 14x + 6 + 0

Remmember :

\sf \mapsto  \frac{d(u \pm v)}{dx}  =  \frac{d(u)}{dx} \pm   \frac{d(v)}{dx}

\sf \mapsto  \frac{d( {x}^{n} )}{dx}  = n {(x)}^{n - 1}

\sf \mapsto  \frac{d(constant)}{dx}  = 0
