Answer:

Fire is regarded as both a good friend and a dangerous enemy. When used with care, it can be a blessing, but when it goes out of control or misused, it can be a curse.

Explanation:

  • The "discovery of fire" is considered as Humanity's significant achievement.
  • The ancient human made use of fire for cooking and keeping warm. However, before it was discovered and put to good use, it existed in perilous forms such as lightning or volcanic lava.
  • Thus, there are two sides to fire because of which humans benefit and suffer from fire.
  • Fire is a good servant and a bad master, it is a blessing if it is kept under control, but it can be dangerous when it goes out of control. However, if it is used correctly, it can be a dear friend.
  • For example, it is used every day in our house to cook food, light candles, generate electricity, in the winter to keep our house warm and other things, but if it gets out of hand, it can can cause significant damage, hurt people, burn houses, and even causes the destruction of forests, homes, and individuals each year.
  • By removing any three of the things (fuel, oxygen, and heat) that fuel fire, it can be controlled. Taking away the fuel will immediately put an end to it.

Therefore, just like friction, fire is a necessary evil. It is a friend under controlled use, and a foe when gets uncontrolled.
