The "first advocate general" of "Haryana" was "Sh. Anand Swaroop". His tenure lasted from "2nd November, 1966" till "2nd March, 1969". He was also the "leader" of the bar and the "president" of "Haryana" and "Punjab High court bar association" for the years "1971 to 1972". The then "Prime Minister of India" , "Smt. Indira Gandhi" named him "Tamra Patra" on "August 15, 1972" for the way he contributed to the freedom struggle, during which he was also imprisoned in "Multan Jail".
