first I show the basic questions in coordinate geometry
1
a, the ordinate is -4 and the abscissa is 3
what is ordinate the y axis is called ordinate and the
X axis is called abscissa .so the form in a graph is
(x,y) .so the answer is(3,-4) it is 4th quadrant because
forth quadrant is positive and negative.
B,
the abscissa is -2 and the ordinate is -3.
(-2,-3) .it is third quadrant because negative and negative.
c,-3,2 it is 2nd quadrant because negative and positive.
d,(0,-4)
it lies on y axis why it is not a quadrant means because 0 will come in X place or y place it is not a quadrant it
is a axis.why it is y axis means y place has real number
but in X place has 0 . so it lies on y axis.
e,(5,0) it lies on X axis.
2,P(3,4) distance from X axis is y axis
distance from y axis is X axis
X=3 y=4 distance from X axis is 4
distance from y axis is 3
4,there are 2 axis they are X axis and y axis.
there are four quadrants . they are 1stquadrant is positive, positive 2nd quadrant is negative, positive
3rd quadrant is negative, negative 4th quadrant is
positive , negative.
