Newton's first law of motion states that an object in rest will remain in rest until and unless a force acts upon it while the second law of motion states that the acceleration(a) of a body is dependent on mass(m) and the force(F) acting up on that body so we can say that hear the force is the product of mass and acceleration.

according to the second law,

F=ma

according to the first law,

F=0 and if mass is constant

F=a

a=0.

so here we can see that when force is equals to zero acceleration is also zero or when the object is at rest or in motion it will remain in rest and motion respectively until and unless a force acts upon it.
