Hi ,

Ask only one question at a time.

1 ) Let a , b , c are three sides of a triangle.

a = 24 cm , b = 10 cm , c = x cm

it is given that ,

Perimeter of the ∆ = 62 cm

a + b + c = 62 cm

24 + 10 + x = 62

34 + x = 62

x = 62 - 34

x = 28

c = x = 28 cm

By

Heron's formula ,

S = ( a + b + c )/2

s = (62/2 )

s = 31

Area of the ∆ = √s(s-a )(s-b)(s-c)

= √31(31-24)(31-10)(31-28)

=√31×7×3 square units.

I hope this helps you.
