Hi mate, 

            The answer to your question cannot be answered as the existence of other multiverses has not been confirmed . There might have been other space ships too built by other life forms which 'might' have launched early. But if you are asking the answer to the Question :- The first space ship in space .?? ....then the answer would be Vostok1 which carried the first man in space ' Yuri Gagarin ' to space.It launched for the first time on mission STS - 1 on April 12th 1981. It was the first flight of the Space Shuttle program.
