Answer:

6

Step-by-step explanation:

12th term = a + 11d = 4+11×3 = 37

8th term of another ap = a + 7d = -5 +7d

-5+7d = 37

7d = 42

d = 6

===========================

Given , first term = 4 , Common difference = 3

a = 4 , d = 3. ( In first Ap)

{•} Given , A12 ( of first Ap) = A8 ( of second Ap)

{•} In second Ap , First term = - 5

To find d

{•} a12 = a8

( a + 11d) = ( a + 7d)

( 4 + 11(3) ) = ( - 5 + 7d)

( 4 + 33) = ( - 5 + 7d)

37 = - 5 + 7d

5 + 37 = - 7d

42 = -7d ===> d = - 6. { On dividing 42 by 7}

So , the comments difference of second Ap is - 6
