Answer

Let the 12th term of the first AP be A12 = a+(12-1)*d

= 4+(11)*3

= 4+33

= 37

Now,

Let the 8th term of another AP be X8 = x+(8-1)*d

=-5+(7)*d

Since, X8=A12

Therefore, -5+(7)*d=37

7d=37+5

7d=42

d=42/7

d=6

Therefore, the common difference of the second AP is 6.
