fishes, amphibians, mammals are considered chordates whereas cnidarians,annelids,arthropods are considered as non chordates . Explain Why?

fishes ,amphibians, mammals are considered as chordates becuz they belong to phylum chordata and subphlyum vertebrates ,and they have noto chord

on the other hand cnidaria, an.... are considered as non chordata becuz they don't have notochord
