Fishes come under the catagory of vertebrates. Unlike humans, they have single circulatory pattern. The heart is the part which generates pressure required for the circulation of blood through out the body. Fish's heart has only one atrium and one ventricle. The 2 chamber's names are venosus and arteriosus.  The oxygen-depleted blood returning from the body reaches the atrium, then the ventricle, and then is poured out to the gills where the blood is oxygenated, and then it goes on into the rest of the body.
