Given : Total projected concession sales are $35,000

Layla, captures 22% of the total sales

supply costs of $4,000 and pay her four employees $12/hour for the five-hour event

To Find : Profit

Solution:

Total Sales = $35000

Layla Sales = (22/100)35000  = $ 7700

supply costs of $4,000

Cost of Employees = number of employees * employee per hr cost * number of Hrs = 4 * 12 * 5

= 240 $

Total Cost = 4000 + 240 = $4240

Profit = 7700 - 4240   = $ 3460

Her Profit = $ 3460
