Five cubes of edge 6 cm are joined to end .find the total surface area of resulting cuboid

When 5 cubes are joined end to end it becomes cuboid. Its height and breadth remains same but lenght changes.

h = 6
b = 6
l = 6(5)
= 30

Total surface area of coboid = 2(lb+bh+hl)
= 2[ 30(6) + 6(6) + 6(30) ]
= 2 [ 180+36+180]
= 2[396]
= 792
