Heya !!!

Edge of cube (A) = 3 cm.

Length of resulting cube = 5 × 3 = 15 cm

Height of resulting cuboid = 3 cm

And,

Breadth of resulting cuboid = 3 cm

TSA of resulting cuboid = 2(lB + BH + HL)

=> 2 ( 15 × 3 + 3 × 3 + 3 × 15)

=> 2 ( 45 + 9 + 45)

=> 2 × 99

=> 198 cm².

Hence,

TSA of resulting cuboid = 198 cm².

HOPE IT WILL HELP YOU...... :-)

If we join 5 cubes of 3 cm, then

3
[][][][][] 3
<-15-->

Now,

Hieght of resulting cuboid = 3 cm
Breadth of resulting cuboid =3 cm
Length of resulting cuboid = (3×5) = 15 cm

Now,

Surface area of cuboid = 2(lb +bh + hl)

Here,

Surface area = 2[ (15×3)+(3×3)+(3×15)]

Surface are =2[ 45 + 9 + 45]

Surface area = 2×99

Surface area of cuboid = 198 cm²

I hope this will help you
