- Qutub Minar is known to be the Tallest brick minaret in the world. The height of the Qutub Minar is 72.5 metres.
- The top of the Qutub Minar was destroyed by a lightning and had to be remade. However, the top part is now made from white marble which distinguishes the top of the Minaret.
- There is an iron pillar inside the Qutub Minar which hasn't rusted since 2000 years.
- The first mosque made in India stands close to the Qutub Minar and is known as Quwwat-ul-Islam Masjid.
