Observe the statements given in the question,

There are five people sitting in a row and all are facing NORTH.

Gaurav is between Raj and Amith. i.e.,

Raj Gaurav Amith

Amith is to the immediate left of Prabhat. i.e.,

Raj Gaurav Amith Prabhat

Arpit is to the left of Raj. i.e., Arpit Raj Gaurav Amith Prabhat.

Therefore, the seating arrangement is as follows:

LEFT (Arpit Raj Gaurav Amith Prabhat) RIGHT

Observe the above arrangement that, the person seated at the extreme left end is Arpit.

Hence, Arpit is seated at the extreme left end.
