Explanation:

The system of biological classification is changing from time to time. In linnaeus' time there was two kingdom classification named Kingdom animalia and kingdom plantae or plant Kingdom that included animals and plants respectively.

In recent times the universally accepted system for biological classification is the five kingdom classification given by mister RH whittaker in (1969) and those kingdoms are:

Kingdom Monera

Kingdom Protista

Kingdom fungi

Kingdom plantae

Kingdom animali

The main basis of classification in this system are:

Cell type, thallus organisation, mode of nutrition, mode of reproduction and phylogenetic relationships
