hi friend
here's your answer looking for
before starting the discussion on the five kingdom system of classification, let's first understand what is the classification?
Classification :- arranging the different living organisms according to their characteristics of similarity and differences is called classification.
the living organisms are classified into five kingdoms.
this five kingdom system of classification was given by Robert h whittaker.
so five kingdoms are as follow and let's discuss this all five kingdoms one by one:-
1). Monera :-
a)) they are the unicellular prokaryotic organisms. that means they doesn't have the nuclear membrane and membrane bound organelles.
b)) reproduction is asexual by the fusion and budding.
c)) basically these living organisms are microscopic.
d)) and they have the cell wall that is made up of the peptidoglycan.
2). Protista :-
a)) these are the unicellular Eukaryotic organisms. that means they have the nuclear membrane and membrane bound organelles.
b)) mainly these organisms are found in the colonies but they do not form any type of tissue.
c)) in these organisms the reproduction is both sexual as well as asexual.
d)) these organisms have the locomotory organelles such as cilia, flagella and pseudopodia.
3). Fungi :-
a)) these are multicellular Eukaryotic organisms . that means they also have nuclear membrane and membrane bounded organelles.
b)) they are similar to plants but they doesn't have chlorophyll pigment.
c)) the reproduction is both sexual as well as asexual.
d)) they are absorptive in nature, means that they feed on dead and decaying matter.
4). Plantae :-
a)) these are the multicellular Eukaryotic organisms that has the cell wall.
b)) these organisms contain the chlorophyll pigment in plastids which help in the process of photosynthesis.
c)) reproduction is both sexual as well as asexual but mainly sexual.
d)) they store their food in the form of starch.
e)) they are sedentary nature.
5) Animalia :-
a)) they are also multicellular Eukaryotic organism.
b)) they have the animal cell ie. without cell wall.
c)) they are free living means they can travel one place to another place.
d)) this store their food in the form of glycogen.
