Five pilots Rakesh, Prakash, Ramesh, Dinesh and Rajesh are to be assigned sorties with five different

war planes, namely Jaguar, F-21, Mig-26, Mirage and B-2. Each pilot should should have a minimum

of 50 sorties with warplane and the number of sorties with any kind of warplane should be an exact

multiple of 50. The total number of sorties for each pilot should be 750. No pilot should be given equal

number of sorties for any two warplanes and no two pilots should be given equal number of sorties for

the same warplane. The following conditions are laid down.

(i) For Ramesh, the number of sorties with B-2 should be twice that with F-21.

(ii) Rakesh is to be given 100 sorties with Mirage and Dinesh should be given 250 sorties with Mig-26.

(iii) Rajesh is to be 150 sorties with F-21.

(iv) Prakash is given the maximum number of sorties with F-21 and 150 sorties with Jaguar.

(v) Out of the total number of sorties assigned to each of Dinesh and Prakash , Dinesh was assigned the

least number of sorties for B-2 and Prakesh for Mig-26.
