five point charge ,each of magnitude +q are kept at the corner of a regular hexagon of side a at A,BC,D,and . find the electric field at the centre O of hexagon.

Electric field due to 4 point charges will cancel each others effect and becuse of which the center will have electric field produced by one charge

if the point charge +q is placed at each side then the electric field acts away from the charge and hence every charge gets cancelled by another charge pkaced at the other side of line.....hence the electric field is zero this is freven charges......bt if u placing odd then 1 charge is left without cancellation.......so the answer fr odd charges at the centre O is......kq1q2/r^2....where k is constan q1 q2 are the different charges and r is the distance between those charges
