Chromatic thread are the fibres present in nucleus and chromosomes are the coloured bodies formed combining the chromatin fibres.

1) chromosomes are paired whereas chromatin threads are unpaired.

2) Chromatic threads are found throughout the cell life whereas chromosomes are found only during cell division.

3) Chromatin Fibers are Long and thin. They are uncoiled structures found inside the nucleus. Chromosomes are compacted, thick and ribbon like structures.
