the sum of first 3 terms
a-d+a+a+d=24
3a=24
a=24÷3
a=8
(a-2d)(a+2d)=48
a2-4d2 = 48
substitute a=8
64-4d2=48
-4d2=48-6
d2= -16÷-4
d=√4
d=2
therefore numbers are 4,6,8,10,12
