Following are the five powers of Supreme Court :
1. The law which has been declared by the Supreme Court binds in all courts within the territory of India.
2. The supreme court gives an exclusive power to the Chief Justice of India in the matter of appointment of officers and servants of the court.
3. The Supreme court can make laws regarding the practice and procedure of the court with the approval of the president.
4. The supreme court can appoint it`s officers and servants in consultation with UPSC examination and determine their condition of service in consultation with the president.
5. The Supreme court may transfer the cases from one and more high courts.
