Properties of bar magnet are:-

@) The magnetic force of it is the strongest at the pole.
@) It has a North pole and South pole at two ends. Even if you break a bar magnet from the middle, both the pieces will start have a North pole and South pole, no matter how many pieces break it in.
@) A bar magnet will attract all ferromagnetic material such as iron , nickel and cobalt.
@) If two bar magnets are placed close to each other, their unlike poles will attract you like poles will repel each other .

3) if two bar magnets are placed closed to each other, their unlike poles will contract and like poles will repel each other

4) if this magnet is suspended freely in the air with a thread, it will not come to rest until the poles are aligned in a north- south position

5) it has two poles north and south poles at two end. Even if you break it from the middle, it will still have both poles south and north poles, so no matter how much you break it many pieces it will have north and south poles both
