Answer:

R 6= r1+r2

= 3+3

=6 ohm

   \frac{1}{r}  =  \frac{1}{6}  +  \frac{1}{3}

 \frac{1}{r }  =   \frac{1}{6 }  +  \frac{2}{6}  =  \frac{3}{6}

r =  \frac{6}{3}  = 2ohm

  • R effective = 0.5 ohm + 2 ohm +0.5 ohm
  • R effective = 3 ohm

Ammeter Reading = I =v/r

=3/3

= 1 ampere

  • Hope it helps you

Answer:

2 A

Explanation:

First find the equivalent resistance .

starting from the top ,

consider part DCE , resistor DC and DE are in series so their equivalent resistance is 6 ohm .

now in place of those two resistors mentioned above consider one resistor of 6 ohm .

that resistor and the 3 ohm resistor are parallelly connected . cal. their equivalent resistance ( 1/6 + 1/3 ) and resiprocal of this will be the total resistance of the triangle above .

not the two 0.5 resistors and the equivalent resistance of above triangle are in series so add all the three you'll get the equivalent resistance .

now use V = IR

V= 3V

R = we havd calculated above ( 1.5 ohm )

find I ( current ) that will be the ammeter reading .

ammeter is a device which measures the current in the circuit .

thank you.
