Then ohms law so 10v / 2ohms = 5amps circuit current.

Each resistor would experience 1 amp through it (ohms law for each branch 10v divided by 10 ohms =1 amp.

This satisfies kirchoffs law.

This only works because the resistors have the same value. If the resistors were different values you would need to use parallel resistance equation 1/Rt=1/R1+1/R2+1/R3 etc etc.
