five students stands in a row such that distance between two successive students is always 1 1/4m.find total distance between the first and the last students. give by explanation.

Dist between 1 student = 11/4 m

Dist between 5 student = 11×5/4m = 55/4m

Then,

total distance between 1st and 5th student = (55/4)-(11/4) = 44/4 = 11m
