Five terms are inserted between 2 and 32 such that the terms form an arithmetic progression.
Find the fourth term of this progression.

Let the five terms be a,b,c,d,e

Arithmetic progression -

2,a,b,c,d,e,32

As all are in arithmetic progression

So, for last term we have a formula

 \sf{l} =\sf{a+(n-1)d}

Hence,

 \sf{32} =\sf{2+(7-1)d}

 \sf{32} =\sf{2+6d}

 \sf{30} =\sf{6d}

 \sf{5} =\sf{d}

 \sf{d} =\sf{5}

As d = 5

So,lets see the arithmetic progression -

2,7,12,17,22,27,32

Your fourth term is 17

Option A is correct
