The plan to ask the Kauravas for five villages was a lesser known trick by Sahadev and Lord Krishna. Yudhishthira did not know anything about this plan. Sahadev was in charge of intelligence and counter intelligence and a master strategist. He made a master plan through counter intelligence and fed the information to Duryodhana's spy that Yudhishthira would ask for five villages which were like pillars of the whole empire. They were:-

1) Indraprastha

2) Panprastha

3) Sonprastha

4) Tilprastha

5) Vyagprastha
