let present age of A be x nd B be y....
5years ago,
age of A = x - 5
age of B = y - 5
10 years later,
age of A = x + 10
age of B = y + 10
Now, according to the question,
x - 5 = 3(y - 5)
x - 5 = 3y -15
x - 3y = -10. (1st equation)
x + 10 = 2(y + 10)
x + 10 = 2y + 20
x - 2y = 10. (2nd equation)
Now substracting equation (1) nd (2)
x - x - 3y + 2y = -10 - 10
-y = -20
y = 20years
Therefore, age of A = -10+3*20
= -10 + 60 = 50years
Hope the answer is correct.............
