Let Gouri's age be 3x

Five years ago, age of Ganesh = x - 5

Age of Gouri = 3x - 5

After ten years, age of Ganesh = x + 10 + 5

Age of Gouri = 3x + 10 + 5 = 3x + 15



According to the question,

3x + 15 = 2(x + 15)

3x + 15 = 2x + 30

3x - 2x = 30 - 15

x = 15



Present age of Ganesh = x + 5 = 15 + 5 = 20 years

Present age of Gouri = 3x + 5 = 3 × 15 + 5 = 50 years
