Step-by-step explanation:

let sikha's age be x and Honey's age by y

five years ago : sikha's age = x-5

Honey's age = y-5

according to the question ,

x-5 = 3(y-5)

x-5= 3y-15

x = 3y-10

x-3y= -10 -----1)

10 years later

sikha's age = x+10

Honey's age = y+10

according to question,

x+10=2(y+10)

x+10=2y+20

x-2y=10 -------2)

subtract equation 2) from 1), we get

-y=-20

y= 20

put this value in 1) , we get

x= 50

and y = 20

therefore sikha's age = 50 years

Honey's age = 20 years
